Okto Chain’s orchestration layer simplifies user and developer interactions in web3 environments by offering intuitive software development kits (SDKs) for integrating web3 functionalities into applications. This enhances user experience, making it akin to web2 applications.
Through its recent integration with CoinDCX, users can access over 50,000 tokens via the exchange’s mobile app in web3 mode. Supported ecosystems include Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, Base, and 10 other chains.
Additionally, CoinDCX users will enjoy on-chain rewards, OKTO airdrops, and self-custody services directly within the app. The exchange rewards users with Okto points for every web3 transaction as part of its launch initiative.
Okto Chain’s chain abstraction supports interactions across multiple blockchains, enabling CoinDCX users to perform cross-chain token swaps and multi-chain identity verification.
Notably, CoinDCX’s web3 mode allows users to transact in INR without needing additional wallets, facilitating direct purchase of tokens like ETH and Matic using fiat currency.
All transaction gas fees are handled automatically by the orchestration layer, streamlining the user experience across different blockchain networks without requiring management of multiple native tokens.
Neeraj Khandelwal, founder of Okto Chain, highlighted that while many Web3 companies are still developing chain-abstracted products, Okto Chain has successfully deployed this technology at scale.
“CoinDCX users have responded positively to the integration of Okto Chain, especially praising its user-friendly experience and accessibility. We’ve observed higher-than-anticipated engagement, indicating strong demand for a more intuitive approach to web3,” Khandelwal shared with crypto.news.
Okto Chain, unveiled in May 2024, operates as a zero-knowledge roll-up chain secured by a decentralized set of Proof of Stake (PoS) validators.
The blockchain’s abstraction layer incorporates Decentralized Wallet Networks (DWNs) and Decentralized Transaction Networks (DTNs). DWNs manage unified wallet accounts secured by Multi-Party Computation, enabling delegated signing and permissions across multiple blockchains. DTNs handle asynchronous transaction orchestration, including tasks like nonce management, gas fee estimation, and transaction lifecycle management across diverse chains.
Apart from the CoinDCX app, users can access the Okto Chain ecosystem through the Okto wallet. Launched by the crypto exchange’s defi arm in 2022, the Okto wallet offers access to over 100 decentralized apps (dApps) and supports 20+ blockchains. Additionally, users can hold the OKTO token, the upcoming native token of the blockchain network.
